- Roofing System:
- Sandwich Panels: The flat roof is constructed using insulated sandwich panels (typically 50mm to 100mm thick). These consist of two aluminium or steel sheets with a core of polyisocyanurate (PIR) or rockwool, providing excellent thermal insulation to keep vehicles cool.
- Internal Lining: The underside features a “V-grooved” or “linear” profile, giving it a clean, architectural ceiling finish rather than a raw industrial look.
- Structure & Material:
- Aluminium Frame: The main pillars and beams are made from heavy-duty, powder-coated aluminium. This makes the structure rust-proof and highly durable against coastal humidity.
- Vertical Slats (Louvers): The black decorative vertical fins on the pillars add a contemporary “pergola” style while providing additional structural reinforcement and side-angle shade.
- Integrated Lighting: The structure includes recessed LED linear lights flush-mounted into the ceiling panels, providing high-visibility night lighting for the parking area.
- Drainage: Most designs of this type utilize a hidden internal gutter system within the horizontal beams, allowing rainwater to exit through the base of the pillars.
